The Schola sang Duruflé's Requiem as part of the St Cecilia Choral Concert at St Paul's Church, Hammersmith on Tuesday 13 November at 7pm. 21.11.07

The Schola featured on BBC Radio 4 Sunday Worship on October 14 2007. The programme was transmitted live (0810-0850) from the Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School and presented by Bishop George Stack. For further details here. 14.10.07

Charles Cole, Director of the Schola Cantorum, was interviewed in June by Joanna Bogle for EWTN. The programme, Catholic Lives, focuses on his work with the choir, and was recorded for future transmission on the satellite network, date tba. 06.07.07

The Schola Cantorum and Orchestra of the Cardinal Vaughan School performed Mendelssohn's Lauda Sion at St John's Smith Square on Tuesday 3 April at 7.30pm. 22.03.07

The Schola sang a Concert in honour of composer Colin Mawby's 70th BIrthday. The Concert, at St Magnus the Martyr on Friday 30 March at 7.30pm  included the premiere of a new Mawby commission, Wolves & Lambs. 22.03.07

The new CD Lauda Sion was launched on 9 December 2005. The Schola sang Mendelssohn's Lauda Sion and other music from the recording during Exposition and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament at St James's, Spanish Place, London W1. Further details of the CD are available in RECORDINGS. 11.12.05

The Schola toured Rome and Assisi in February 2005. The choir sang Mass at St Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, and at the Patriarchal Basilica of San Franceso, Assisi. The Schola also gave a concert at Sant'Ignazio, Rome. Further details are available in the TOURS section of the Website. 19.02.05

The Trebles of the Schola took part in Lament for Jerusalem, a concert at Christ Church, Spitalfields on Saturday 18 December 2004. This was the launch concert for the Choir of London directed by Jeremy Summerly. The Trebles sang the boys' part in Benjamin Britten's Voices for Today (1965). Colin Mawby wrote a new work for the Schola Cantorum. His Exsultate Deo was commissioned by Charles Cole, the Director of the Schola to mark the 90th anniversary of the foundation of The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School and the 25th anniversary of the foundation of the Schola. The text includes the school motto Amare et Servire (to Love and to Serve). The first performance was at Speech Day on Thursday 25 November 2004. The first liturgical performance was on Friday 26 November 2004 at the School's Foundation Day Mass at Westminster Cathedral. 30.11.04

Anita Morrison has joined the music staff at The Cardinal Vaughan Memorial School as vocal coach to the upper voices of the Schola. She is renowned as an exceptional singer and teacher and also works at Eton College and trains the Choristers of Westminster Cathedral. 30.9.04
