Fortieth Anniversary Concert
Updated: Mar 6
Some beautiful photos by Weenson Oo from last night's Schola Fortieth Anniversary Concert at Cadogan Hall.
So many great moments in the concert captured here, from the first performance of a new piece by Roderick Williams to the more than twenty former Schola members who joined us to sing in Widor's Mass for two Choirs, Organ and Orchestra. What a noise they made! Roderick Williams returned later in the concert as soloist in Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs and even joined in the Schola's encore!
Many congratulations to all who performed and heartfelt thanks to the Old Boys who returned, especially the four who sang solos in our extracts from Tosca and Elgar's Great is the Lord.
And so many thanks to all those who attended this event and added your generous support to what was a truly memorable evening.
