On Friday 8 May, 20 boys from the Schola enjoyed the great privilege of singing at the concert celebrating Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday. At the end of February, the Schola travelled to Trondheim, where the choir sang a concert in Nidaros Cathedral—the most northerly Gothic cathedral in the world. The performance was given in collaboration with the cathedral’s boys’ choir, Nidarosdomens Guttekor. The choir was delighted to sing for a large and receptive audience. At the start of term we were delighted to provide the children's chorus for the new production of Tosca at Covent Garden. This was the first new production of Tosca in over twenty years and was directed by Head of Opera Oliver Mears. It was also the first opera to be conducted by the new Music Director at Covent Garden, Jakub Hrůša. Ten of our boys sang alongside ten girls from Greycoat Hospitial School.

Some photos from our recent four night run at the Royal Albert Hall with the incredible Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós.
