In July the Schola travelled to Northern France for a short concert tour. The choir gave concerts to very large audiences in the Cathedrals of Bayeux and Lisieux and at the Church of St Jean in Caen, as well as singing for Mass at Lisieux Cathedral and in Vermoutiers.

The programme of music focused on the Requiem by Gabriel Fauré and also included music by Bach, Mozart and Sir James MacMillan. The boys also enjoyed visits to the Bayeux Tapestry and the Caen Memorial Museum which examines the events of the First and Second World Wars. It made for a lovely way to end the Schola's year as we said goodbye to six singers leaving for university.
